Sales Support/Customer Server Rep

Location: On site, Farmingdale, New York


Our client is seeking a Sales Support/Customer Server Rep to join a fast-moving, team-oriented office that plays an important role in keeping customer relationships strong and orders moving smoothly. The role offers steady hours, overtime eligibility after training, and a bonus opportunity that can meaningfully increase total earnings.


What You Will Do

  • Respond to customer questions on product options, lead times, and order status while delivering a high level of day-to-day service.
  • Prepare pricing, build quotations, and review incoming orders for accuracy before release to internal teams.
  • Coordinate with shipping, sales, and finance partners to keep customer commitments on track from order entry through delivery.
  • Maintain organized records, update account activity, and help resolve issues quickly with a professional and solutions focused approach.
  • Handle inbound calls and written inquiries with a positive, responsive, and detail conscious mindset.
  • Support a well-established customer base by helping ensure requests are addressed accurately and on time.


What You Bring

  • Strong phone presence and customer communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy office setting.
  • Comfort working with pricing details, order information, and routine documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer tools.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and a dependable follow through style.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to work well with others.
  • Associate degree preferred, or a similar combination of education and relevant experience.


Compensation and Schedule

  • Base schedule is 37.5 hours per week.
  • After approximately one month of training, this role is expected to be eligible for up to 7.5 hours of overtime per week.
  • Bonus potential is typically in the 20 percent to 30 percent range.
