Senior DevOps Engineer

Focus:

• Lead a team in the development of a decentralized distributed compute platform designed for GPU's, Rendering, and AI/ML workloads, catering to various products across Windows, Linux, and Mac clients, as well as Windows and Linux servers.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to optimize, expand, and establish robust builds, deployments, and infrastructure.
• Architect and implement advanced High Availability setups employing diverse strategies such as master/slave configurations, federation, etc.
• Design and deploy infrastructure for proactive problem detection, health monitoring, and performance optimization of servers.
• Provide expert-level support for production issues, including after-hours technical assistance when required.
• Develop scalable infrastructure solutions that seamlessly integrate with third-party services.
• Communicate effectively, documenting processes comprehensively to enable replication by team members.
• Participate actively in team meetings across multiple time zones.

Skill Set:

• Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience.
• Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, etc.
• Proficiency in Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Strong scripting abilities in shell and other languages.
• Experience with GitLab/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledgeable in production deployments and backup systems.
• Familiarity with IAM principles and cloud security.
• Experience with multiple cloud platforms.
• Understanding of advanced Kubernetes concepts and security practices.
