Focus
- Keep AWS based services stable, secure, and ready for growth across a live customer environment.
- Respond to production issues with urgency, sound judgment, and practical problem solving.
- Expand compute, storage, and related platform resources as demand evolves.
- Reduce manual work by building scripts, playbooks, and repeatable operating procedures.
- Own day to day Linux administration, patching, monitoring, and access management across production systems.
- Write and maintain clear runbooks and support documentation so the team can operate more efficiently.
- Help support a mixed infrastructure footprint that may include cloud services, networking, and third-party facilities.
- Partner closely with technical leadership in a small team where initiative and follow through matter.
Skill Set
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in systems administration, cloud operations, infrastructure support, or a similar function.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services such as compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and identity management.
- Solid Linux administration experience, including patching, maintenance, troubleshooting, and systems support.
- Scripting ability in Bash, Python, or both for automation and operational improvement.
- Comfort working in production environments where reliability and response time matter.
- Experience creating documentation, SOPs, and runbooks for repeatable support and maintenance work.
- Ability to operate independently in a lean team with limited oversight.
- Exposure to colocation, connectivity coordination, or compliance driven environments is helpful.
