Chief Financial Officer

Location: Fully Onsite – Rural Northern Missouri

Relocation Assistance Available



A well-established, community-based broadband infrastructure organization is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, compliance, and capital planning. This is a fully onsite executive role based in rural northern Missouri. Daily presence is required. Relocation assistance is available. We are open to experienced CFOs as well as strong VP Finance or Controller-level leaders ready to step into their first CFO seat.


The Opportunity

This organization delivers essential broadband infrastructure and operates in a highly regulated environment with active capital investment initiatives.

The CFO will:

  • Lead all financial operations (FP&A, accounting, treasury, controls)
  • Serve as primary financial advisor to executive leadership and the Board
  • Oversee audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance
  • Manage lender relationships and capital structure planning
  • Guide cash flow strategy and infrastructure funding oversight
  • Lead and mentor a small accounting team in a hands-on environment

This is a true ownership seat — not a layered corporate finance role.


Ideal Background

  • Experience in one or more of the following environments is valued:

o  Broadband / telecommunications / utilities

o  Financial services

o  Healthcare

o  Other highly regulated industries

  • Experience operating in small-to-mid-sized organizations with direct board interaction is particularly relevant.
  • Strong candidates may currently hold titles such as:

o  Chief Financial Officer

o  Vice President of Finance

o  Controller

o  Director of Finance

  • Leaders ready to assume full CFO responsibility are encouraged to apply


Required Experience

  • 7+ years of progressive financial leadership
  • Direct experience with audits, internal controls, and regulatory reporting
  • Hands-on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Experience managing banking relationships and debt facilities
  • Comfort presenting financial strategy to a Board of Directors
  • CPA preferred


Structure & Compensation

  • Base salary in the upper 100K’s, low – 200K range
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity

This role requires full onsite presence in rural northern Missouri.
