IoT /Satellite – Regional Sales Manager
Our client is a top telecommunications provider, serving customers around the globe. They deliver pioneering IoT Solutions in the agriculture, alternative energy, oil and gas, transportation, government verticals. They are hiring a IoT / Satellite – Regional Sales Manager with expertise in the Business to Business (B2B) telecom space.
This role focuses on acquiring new business directly or through partners, utilizing satellite technology to benefit various verticals.
Note: Eligible candidates must reside within the Central time zone of United States.

Focus:
- Utilize existing business relationships to secure new business opportunities.
- Concentrate on solutions for asset tracking and ensuring the safety of lone workers, utilizing either wireless or satellite technology.
- Identify opportunities and risks within various vertical markets such as agriculture, alternative energy, transportation, and government.
- Maintain a target list of potential direct business and partner opportunities through research, sales and marketing efforts, and participation in sector trade shows to expand distribution channels to exceed sales goals.
- Qualify leads through research, phone interviews, and face-to-face meetings.
- Provide hardware forecasts to management on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Identify relevant trade shows to promote their products in the Asset Tracking and Remote Worker Safety space.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to provide feedback on product enhancements.
- Train and support direct customers and partners in sales and marketing activities.
- Maintain sales reports in CRM and participate in quarterly sales conferences.
- Handle customer inquiries and issues, promoting their products and services using defined sales techniques
Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of field sales and sales management experience in asset tracking and remote worker safety.
- Experience in sales and marketing and proven track record in vertical markets within asset tracking and remote worker safety markets.
- Understanding of the telecom industry, preferably satellite communications.
- Experience in scaling business through partners and direct customer acquisition.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales results and revenue growth.
- Self-motivated with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication (both written and oral), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work remotely independently and as part of a team.
