This is a highly visible executive opportunity for a finance leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations, investors, and M&A, with the ability to influence enterprise decisions while building a scalable Finance organization.

This Role Offers:

  • Direct partnership with the CEO, Board, institutional investors, and senior operating leadership.
  • Significant opportunity to shape financial strategy, infrastructure, reporting, and performance management as the organization expands.
  • The ability to build and develop a Finance and Accounting team positioned to support long-term growth.

Focus:

  • Lead enterprise planning, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and performance management across a complex, multi-entity organization.
  • Provide executive-level financial insight to guide growth priorities, capital deployment, operating decisions, and long-range strategy.
  • Direct acquisition finance activities, including due diligence, transaction analysis, financing support, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Build scalable financial processes, reporting disciplines, controls, and systems that support continued organic and acquisition-driven growth.
  • Partner with business leaders to improve project economics, including backlog, utilization, realization, labor performance, margins, billing, and cash conversion.
  • Serve as a trusted financial partner to the CEO, Board, and institutional investors, translating performance, forecasts, risks, and opportunities into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting organization, establishing clear accountability while strengthening organizational capability and succession depth.
  • Advance financial and operational performance through stronger pricing, project budgeting, resource planning, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Skill Set:

  • 15 to 20 years of progressive Finance and/or Accounting experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
  • Direct financial leadership experience within Architecture, Engineering, Construction, consulting, or another project-based professional services business. Architecture and Engineering experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with institutional investors, including private equity, growth equity, or venture capital stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership across FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and business performance management.
  • Experience leading Finance teams within a multi-location, multi-entity, or similarly complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of project-based professional services financial management and the operational drivers of project profitability.
  • Meaningful experience supporting an acquisition-driven organization, including financial due diligence, transaction analysis, financing, and post-acquisition integration.
