Project Manager – Food & Beverage

Location: Remote, Nationwide

Our client is a growing leader in complex construction and project delivery, supporting high-impact facilities across the food and beverage sector. They are seeking an accomplished Project Manager who can take ownership of large, technically demanding projects while bringing together field teams, trade partners, designers, and customers around a clear execution plan. Focus:

• Lead complex food and beverage facility projects from early planning through turnover, coordinating schedules, field execution, commissioning, and closeout around customer and contractual expectations.
• Direct project financial and commercial performance, including forecasting, cost reporting, billing, cash flow, profitability, contract administration, and change management.
• Partner with field leadership to maintain strong standards for safety, quality, constructability, site coordination, and timely resolution of execution challenges.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier strategy from bidding and scope alignment through commitments, performance oversight, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate designers, permitting authorities, and project stakeholders to keep engineering deliverables, approvals, inspections, procurement, and construction activities moving together.
• Maintain effective project controls across RFIs, submittals, drawings, schedules, meeting records, field changes, risk tracking, and turnover documentation.
• Build trusted client relationships through clear communication of progress, financial matters, risks, decisions, and recovery strategies while aligning multidisciplinary teams around project priorities.
• Lead and develop project personnel by establishing expectations, reinforcing accountability, coaching team members, and promoting effective collaboration across geographically dispersed assignments.
• Provide industry expertise during early project planning and business development efforts, supporting key project considerations and client needs as required.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 10 or more years of progressive construction project leadership experience, ideally on large or complex food and beverage facilities.
• Demonstrated ownership of project budgets, forecasts, profitability, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Advanced working knowledge of construction scheduling, procurement, estimating, contracts, subcontract administration, and change management.
• Strong command of construction safety, quality expectations, field coordination, and project delivery methods.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities across complex projects.
• Strong client communication, negotiation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to develop project personnel through coaching, clear expectations, and accountability.
• Comfortable working in a highly mobile project environment and traveling based on project requirements.
• Experience carrying project profit and loss responsibility and making decisions that support both successful delivery and financial performance.
