Job Title: Director of Operational Excellence 

Location: Greater Phoenix Area, AZ (Hybrid) 

Overview 

A fast growing, technology enabled consumer platform company is seeking a Director of Operational Excellence to help drive enterprise performance and data driven decision making. This role partners closely with executive leadership to enhance operational processes, integrate advanced analytics into business workflows, and strengthen performance discipline across teams. It plays a critical role in the company's operational transformation under new leadership, helping redesign core processes and elevate data-driven decision-making across the organization. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead cross functional operational improvement initiatives across multiple business units. 
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable operating frameworks. 
• Establish KPI structures, performance reporting, and governance models to improve execution. 
• Partner with analytics and technology teams to integrate data insights and AI enabled tools into operational workflows. 
• Analyze operational and financial performance to identify opportunities that improve conversion, margin, and capital efficiency. 
• Design feedback loops that allow teams to continuously improve processes and model performance. 
• Develop executive level reporting and decision support materials. 
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive alignment on strategic initiatives. 
• Support strategic planning through scenario modeling, forecasting, and operational diagnostics. 

Background 

• 4 to 8 years of experience in strategy consulting, operational transformation, or performance improvement roles. 
• Experience leading cross functional initiatives in fast moving business environments. 
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret operational metrics and performance drivers. 
• Experience translating complex data into clear business insights and executive level presentations. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline. 

Preferred Experience 

• Background in top tier consulting, advisory, or transformation programs. 
• Experience implementing operational excellence frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma. 
• Exposure to advanced analytics, data science initiatives, or AI driven decision support tools. 
• Experience with analytics or CRM platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar systems. 
• Experience presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
