An established and rapidly expanding facilities service provider is looking for a dependable and proactive Service / Maintenance Dispatcher to coordinate high-volume service requests across a national footprint. In this mission-critical role, you’ll be the linchpin between urgent maintenance needs, vendor execution, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to incoming service requests via phone and email.
  • Assign and dispatch vendors or technicians for maintenance, repair, and emergency service work.
  • Monitor open jobs to ensure timely vendor response, arrival, and resolution.
  • Actively follow up to confirm completion, escalate issues, and document outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot problems, source alternate vendors, and drive resolutions without delay.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, updates, and vendor communications.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and prevent escalation.
  • Work closely with the service management team to optimize workflows and service standards.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in a fast-paced dispatch or coordination role within home services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair), property maintenance, or small-broker logistics.
  • Proven track record of reliability, quick problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Exceptional phone presence and communication skills—confident, calm, and customer-focused.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Resourceful and tech-savvy - comfortable using Google, internal systems, and vendor databases to self-educate and resolve issues quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills with a bias toward action and accountability.
