VP of Carrier Sales

Location: Remote – Must reside on the East Coast

Industry: Wireless / Telecom Infrastructure

A rapidly scaling, private-equity-backed wireless-infrastructure innovator is expanding its executive team. With a footprint that spans hospitals, hospitality venues, higher-ed campuses, and landmark commercial properties, the company designs, finances, builds, and operates cutting-edge indoor and outdoor networks that keep people and data connected when it matters most. As VP of Carrier Sales, you will be the senior face to the nation’s top mobile network operators, translating strategic spectrum goals into long-term, revenue-generating partnerships across a growing portfolio of “smart” venues.

This Role Offers

  • Build the carrier-go-to-market playbook for a PE-backed platform that is doubling venue count every year.
  • Report directly to the senior leadership team and shape network-expansion strategy company-wide.
  • Flexible project financing, seasoned engineering teams, and a robust backlog of green- and brown-field DAS/5G upgrades.
  • Competitive salary plus uncapped performance-based incentives, 100 % employer-paid medical/dental/vision, and future equity eligibility.
  • Work remotely anywhere on the East Coast with travel (~60 %) to carrier offices and venue sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Craft and own a multi-year carrier-sales strategy that aligns venue acquisition and network build-out objectives with operator coverage needs.
  • Cultivate senior-level relationships inside AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and regional carriers, securing spectrum leases, capital contributions, and equipment commitments.
  • Lead complex deal negotiations-from commercial terms to MSA execution-balancing carrier ROI targets with venue economics.
  • Partner cross-functionally (finance, engineering, ops, legal) to shepherd projects from LOI through on-air, ensuring milestones, budgets, and SLAs are hit.
  • Maintain a credible, data-driven point of view on spectrum policy, small-cell trends, and competitive infrastructure models to inform product direction.
  • Deliver accurate pipeline forecasts, board-level reporting, and market-expansion recommendations based on carrier feedback and industry intel.

What You Bring

  • 7 + years selling network solutions into Tier-1 & Tier-2 mobile operators; pre-existing contacts on both national strategy and regional RF / real-estate teams.
  • Working knowledge of DAS, small cells, neutral-host/shared-infrastructure economics, 5G architectures, and optical/fiber backhaul.
  • Demonstrated history of closing multi-stakeholder, seven-figure contracts with long sales cycles.
  • Comfortable shifting between C-suite road-mapping sessions and boots-on-ground site walks.
  • Ability to be on-site with carrier and venue partners as opportunities dictate (up to 60 %).

Preferred Extras

  • Direct experience financing carrier-funded deployments or creative public-private partnerships.
  • Track record of originating new-build projects in health-care or higher-education environments.
  • MBA or other advanced business/engineering credentials.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to set the carrier-sales vision at a moment when private capital and 5G demand are converging. You will shape the connectivity blueprint for venues that serve millions of users daily—while positioning yourself for accelerated growth in an organization that rewards innovation and results.
