Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business acquisition efforts across key aerospace markets, with a focus on OEMs, Tier 1s/Tier 2s, and related manufacturers.
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, solution scoping, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
- Partner with internal stakeholders including sales leadership, operations, and engineering to deliver custom technical solutions that align with customer needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and on-site meetings to build relationships and enhance visibility.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts to support strategic planning and operational readiness.
- Deliver customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to inform executive-level decisions.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven track record of sales success in aerospace or advanced manufacturing, with an emphasis on engineered components, hardware, or fastening systems.
- Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to initiate and close new business.
- Pre-existing industry relationships and a transferable book of business are highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Skilled in technical solution selling and comfortable interfacing with engineering and procurement teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel across the South Central U.S. region (primarily Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma), with occasional nationwide travel as needed.
