Manager of Electrical Engineering – Data Centers

Location: On-site | Shreveport, Louisiana

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and develop a multidisciplinary engineering group (electrical, structural, CAD) while managing workloads, priorities, and technical quality.
• Guide designs for steel and aluminum enclosures, containerized data centers, and battery or telecom shelters from concept through release to manufacturing.
• Create and maintain calculation templates, departmental guidelines, and drawing libraries that ensure code compliance and repeatable, high-quality outputs.
• Translate client specifications into practical solutions, support proposals with technical data, and lead root-cause analysis for any field issues.
• Collaborate with operations and sourcing to improve manufacturability, material utilization, and total cost without sacrificing performance.
• Champion automation of CAD and bill-of-materials processes, driving cycle-time and accuracy gains across the product line.
• Administer design change requests, schedule impact reviews, and budget adherence for multiple concurrent programs.
• Recruit, coach, and retain engineering talent while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or similar).
• 10+ years designing modular enclosures, skids, or equipment shelters for data-center, telecom, or industrial use.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with 3-D CAD and structural/electrical analysis tools; working knowledge of NEC, UL, wind/seismic, and related building codes.
• Demonstrated project-management skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Extras

• A Professional Engineering certification.
• Experience scripting or automating design workflows.
• Background with prefabricated data-center modules, BESS enclosures, or telecom shelter products.
