Key Responsibilities

Cost Control Leadership: Manage comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure successful project delivery within budget and on schedule.

Collaboration & Financial Strategy: Act as the central point of contact for all cost-related functions supporting both prime and subcontractor scopes, empowering project managers to concentrate on quality and execution.

System Optimization: Analyze and refine the use of project management tools (especially Procore) to streamline data flow and reporting. Identify and implement new technologies or methods to improve operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Bridge cost strategies across all project phases - Preconstruction, Construction, and Operations - ensuring consistent communication and financial continuity.
Key Focus Areas:
- Budget development and cost projection
- Invoice tracking and PO lifecycle oversight
- Client billing support and cash flow monitoring
- Change order documentation and management
Required Background
- 5+ years in construction cost analysis, project scheduling, or financial operations, particularly within mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, infrastructure).
- Strong grasp of MEP systems, high-capacity electrical, cooling, and IT/telecom cost drivers.
- Deep understanding of market fluctuations in labor and material costs.
- Proven ability to align cost planning with risk mitigation, scheduling, and procurement strategies.
- Experience managing financial documentation such as invoicing, billing, and change orders in large-scale capital projects.
- Skilled communicator capable of delivering clear financial insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High sense of ownership and accountability with a self-directed, proactive mindset.

- Prior experience supporting data center or mission-critical construction projects.
