A premier behavioral health organization in the Denver metro area is expanding its pharmacy team to better serve patients and the community. This growing and mission-driven healthcare provider is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about supporting patients through pharmacy services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive and fill prescriptions, manage data entry, and support related pharmacy services under licensed pharmacist supervision.
  • Provide timely, respectful, and engaging customer service to patients and internal staff, including educating on available pharmacy programs and services.
  • Operate pharmacy technology systems (e.g., POS, inventory management, dispensing software) with precision and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment to optimize pharmacy workflow.
  • Monitor inventory levels, support ordering processes, and assist in restocking and removing outdated medications.
  • Participate in training initiatives for new staff on systems and operational procedures.
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and coordination with other departments and care teams.
  • Handle Will Call Bin and ensure timely return-to-stock of unclaimed prescriptions.
  • Contribute to marketing and outreach initiatives that promote expanded pharmacy services and improve access to care.
  • Uphold rigorous adherence to HIPAA, infection control protocols, and internal SOPs.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists on initiatives such as immunizations, medication therapy management, adherence tracking, and patient assistance programs.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).
  • Current licensure as a Pharmacy Technician with the State of Colorado.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacy operations, ideally within a clinical or behavioral health setting.
  • Proficient in pharmacy software systems, office technologies, and multi-line phone systems.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and perform job duties in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Professional integrity with a patient-first mindset.
