VP of Sales

Our client, an award-winning producer of remanufactured power-train solutions, has doubled revenue in recent years through unmatched quality, lean operations, and a customer-first mindset. They are now searching for a hands-on VP of Sales to architect and accelerate their national go-to-market strategy as they expand deeper into dealer, fleet, and e-commerce channels.
What You’ll Own
- Set the commercial vision and multi-year revenue roadmap, ensuring aggressive year-over-year growth targets are met.
- Build, coach, and scale a high-performing sales organization covering direct, channel, and enterprise accounts.
- Deploy data-driven forecasting models and continuously report pipeline health, upside, and risk to the executive team.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Product to launch integrated campaigns that open new territories and verticals.
- Strengthen executive relationships with national dealer networks, fleet operators, and independent repair facilities.
- Optimize processes, CRM automation, and enablement tools to shorten the sales cycle and boost win rates.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends, providing actionable pricing and positioning recommendations.
- Champion a culture of accountability, customer obsession, and continuous improvement across the revenue team.
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and key customer meetings to reinforce market leadership.
The Background You’ll Bring
Essential:
- 10+ years of progressive B2B sales leadership within industrial or manufacturing environments, including 5+ years owning national revenue targets.
- Documented success exceeding eight-figure quotas and scaling teams in high-growth settings.
- Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier sales talent while fostering a performance-driven culture.
- Expertise in forecasting, CRM administration, and data-based decision making.
- Executive-level communication, negotiation, and strategic partnership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or comparable postgraduate credential preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience in automotive, power-train, remanufactured parts, or adjacent industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and dealer / service-network go-to-market models.
