Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement pricing strategies that align with evolving business goals and market dynamics.
- Work closely with sales, financial planning, and logistics departments to harmonize pricing strategies that meet customer needs, account for production expenses, and achieve desired profit margins.
- Create analytical frameworks to assess expense dynamics and confirm that pricing strategies align with financial performance goals.
- Lead the development and rollout of dynamic pricing processes and tools to support fast-moving markets and material cost fluctuations.
- Serve as a key liaison for pricing-related workflows across internal stakeholders, supporting efficient quote-to-order execution.
- Maintain and manage master pricing databases, ensuring accuracy within ERP and CRM systems.
- Monitor and report on key pricing performance metrics, including margin contribution and competitive positioning.
- Assist commercial leadership with price change initiatives and provide analytical support on a project basis.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline pricing workflows for increased operational efficiency.
- Analyze competitor pricing, customer demand trends, and market intelligence to refine go-to-market pricing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis, commercial finance, or business analytics.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or materials-related industries is strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills, plus hands-on experience with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce) systems.
- Analytical experience using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Smartsheet.
- Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and ability to communicate pricing logic clearly across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
