Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and expand relationships with contractors and key decision-makers across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors in the surrounding Corpus Christi area.
- Drive revenue through proactive client engagement, in-person meetings, and site visits that position the company as a trusted resource and primary supplier.
- Analyze territory data and sales performance metrics to identify opportunities and craft tailored growth strategies.
- Deliver value-added solutions that go beyond pricing, including technical insights, logistical support, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with inside sales, operations, and leadership to deliver best-in-class customer experiences and fulfill complex project requirements.
- Champion the entire sales lifecycle from quoting to order fulfillment, while maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and market intelligence.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across a broad range of product categories.
- Represent the company at industry events and through professional associations to grow visibility and brand awareness.
- Support timely collections and credit processes in partnership with finance and management teams.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in wholesale, distribution, or contractor-facing industries (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, industrial supply, etc.).
- Proven ability to develop rapport with a diverse customer base and drive revenue across large territories.
- Strong organizational skills and self-discipline with the ability to manage a field-based schedule.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction drawings, customer data, and sales trends is a plus.
