Press Brake Operator

Location: Peoria, AZ (Onsite)

Focus

• Set up and operate CNC and hydraulic press brake equipment to produce precision metal components.
• Operate hydraulic sheet metal shears as needed to support fabrication operations.
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD generated drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Program machinery and adjust equipment to meet production specifications.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and identify equipment issues before they affect production.
• Follow established safety procedures while maintaining an organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with production personnel to meet quality and scheduling objectives.

Skill Set

• Minimum of one year of experience operating hydraulic press brakes and sheet metal shears.
• Experience performing machine setup and programming.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment including tape measures, micrometers, squares, and protractors.
• Strong understanding of dimensional accuracy and quality control.
• Ability to safely lift between 50 and 100 pounds throughout the workday.
• Forklift experience is beneficial but not required.
• Dependable work ethic with strong communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
