Focus
- Set up and operate CNC and hydraulic press brake equipment to produce precision metal components.
- Operate hydraulic sheet metal shears as needed to support fabrication operations.
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD generated drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Program machinery and adjust equipment to meet production specifications.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and identify equipment issues before they affect production.
- Follow established safety procedures while maintaining an organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with production personnel to meet quality and scheduling objectives.
Skill Set
- Minimum of one year of experience operating hydraulic press brakes and sheet metal shears.
- Experience performing machine setup and programming.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Proficiency using precision measuring equipment including tape measures, micrometers, squares, and protractors.
- Strong understanding of dimensional accuracy and quality control.
- Ability to safely lift between 50 and 100 pounds throughout the workday.
- Forklift experience is beneficial but not required.
- Dependable work ethic with strong communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
