Strategic Sales Manager – Biotech Solutions

Location: Bentonville, AR (On-Site) - Relocation support may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Travel: Occasional travel may be required for client visits, industry events, and collaboration with internal teams.

Join a high-growth, innovation-driven life sciences manufacturer dedicated to advancing solutions in the biological and diagnostic materials sector. As a central player in this expanding organization, the Manager of Sales – Biotech Solutions will bridge critical departments — from technical sales to supply chain — in pursuit of unified growth. This role combines strategic insight, operational oversight, and client-focused leadership to drive nationwide business results in a complex and evolving market.

This is an ideal role for a process-oriented sales operations leader with industry experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences, looking to make a direct impact on revenue, customer experience, and cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the customer support and supply chain coordination functions, ensuring high standards in client communication and order fulfillment.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and produce regular reports and forecasts to guide leadership decision-making.
  • Leverage CRM systems and analytical tools to track trends, customer activity, and operational performance.
  • Guide pricing, quoting, and order management practices to align with company revenue goals.
  • Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations and web updates to ensure accuracy and usability for B2B customers.
  • Partner with business development, technical sales, marketing, and R&D to plan and execute nationwide go-to-market strategies.
  • Translate customer and market insights into actionable initiatives that improve revenue, service delivery, and product readiness.
  • Align commercial strategies with manufacturing, quality, logistics, and product development teams to ensure operational excellence.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with national and regional customers, including account strategy planning and executive relationship building.
  • Oversee contract renewals and negotiation activities to secure beneficial, compliant terms.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and client-facing events to elevate market presence.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
  • 7–10 years of sales operations or account management experience, preferably in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or diagnostics.
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools, Excel, and sales analytics dashboards.
  • Proven ability to lead internal teams and external client engagements across multiple business functions.
  • Track record of success managing customer service, procurement, or supply chain processes.

Preferred

  • Experience with biological materials (animal serums, tissues, plasma, etc.) and regulatory considerations.
  • Exposure to vendor management, supply chain oversight, and materials procurement within highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with scientific products used in R&D, clinical, or diagnostic settings.

Why You Should Apply

  • High-impact role with ownership over nationwide sales operations strategy.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of commercial growth and technical innovation.
  • Join a close-knit team in a mission-oriented, fast-growing company with deep roots in the life sciences industry.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and long-term career path opportunities.
