Vice President of Operations - Residential Home Services

As the incoming Vice President of Operations, you will steer day-to-day field and office performance. Focus:
- Strategic Direction – Craft and execute operational strategy that aligns people, processes, and technology across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical verticals for sustained growth and margin expansion.
- Operational Excellence – Oversee service delivery, fleet and inventory management, and safety compliance, driving continual process improvement and KPI achievement.
- Financial Leadership – Manage a $30-50 million P&L, establish budgets, monitor cost controls, and uncover new revenue streams in both existing and adjacent markets.
- People & Culture – Build and mentor high-performing field, dispatch, and administrative teams, championing a servant-leadership culture focused on accountability, career growth, and community engagement.
- Customer Advocacy – Ensure “first-time-right” service quality, personally address escalations, and leverage data insights to raise customer satisfaction scores.
- Regulatory & Safety Stewardship – Maintain full compliance with state and local codes, environmental standards, and OSHA requirements while promoting a proactive safety mindset company-wide..
Skill Set:
- 10-15+ years in residential, route-based home services with increasing leadership scope.
- Proven success leading multi-site operations and full P&L ($30-50 M).
- Track record of scaling teams, systems, and processes-experience with dashboards/BI tools (Power BI or similar) highly valued.
- Servant leader who thrives in locally minded, community-oriented cultures and can seamlessly transition into a President role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and change-management skills.
