Project Manager / Superintendent
Location: Remote within the U.S. with nationwide travel

This role combines project management with field leadership, serving as the primary point of contact between customers, contractors, installers, and internal teams throughout each installation.

Key Responsibilities
- Own full project life-cycle—scope validation, scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, subcontractor oversight, installation supervision, and close-out documentation.
- Act as the primary liaison among general contractors, architects, design teams, field crews, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, resolving issues quickly and diplomatically.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with state licensing, permitting, safety, and QA/QC requirements.
- Conduct field verification activities prior to installation to confirm site readiness, validate dimensions, and identify conditions that could impact project execution.
- Coordinate daily activities between installation teams, subcontractors, and project partners to maintain schedule, quality, and workflow continuity.
- Review jobsite conditions against project drawings and specifications, proactively addressing discrepancies and communicating required adjustments.
- Maintain project documentation, contractor compliance records, insurance requirements, and ongoing communication with customers and project stakeholders from kickoff through final completion.
- Travel extensively to active job sites throughout the U.S. to support installations, resolve field issues, and ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Leverage modern construction tech (Revit/BIM, cloud-based contract-management and scheduling tools) to track documentation and drive transparency.
- Champion continuous improvement by documenting best practices and mentoring junior staff to elevate overall project performance.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- 5+ years’ experience managing specialty interior or fixture installations, large-scale commercial build-outs, or comparable construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- Proven success juggling tight schedules, margin-sensitive budgets, and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Background working with general contractors or within commercial construction environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors while managing project schedules, documentation, and field activities.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to build relationships and keep clients, contractors, and internal teams informed throughout project execution.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve potential field issues before installation begins, ensuring efficient project coordination and successful commercial construction outcomes.
- Strong technical literacy with construction processes, specifications, and contract terms.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills—comfortable presenting to executives and trade partners alike.
- Willing and able to travel based on project activity and may be significant during active installation phases.
