Architect, Industrial Projects

Our client is looking for a seasoned professional to support the planning, development, and delivery of sophisticated facility projects from initial design through implementation. This position offers meaningful ownership of projects where architecture, engineering, operations, and constructability must work together. The successful candidate will join a collaborative design environment, contribute to complex facility programs, and have a direct hand in how projects are planned, documented, coordinated, and delivered.

Focus:

• Guide facility projects from early planning through design development, permitting, construction documentation, and field support.
• Develop thoughtful space and facility concepts that accommodate project-specific operational requirements.
• Create and maintain coordinated Revit models and drawing packages, incorporating AutoCAD when appropriate for project needs.
• Work across structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and other technical disciplines to support integrated project delivery.
• Assess applicable code, life safety, accessibility, zoning, and approval requirements throughout the design process.
• Produce architectural details, specifications, design alternatives, and technical documentation with an emphasis on constructability and quality.
• Contribute to client meetings, design reviews, consultant coordination, and communication with permitting authorities.
• Conduct project site visits as needed to capture existing conditions, address design questions, and assist with construction-phase needs.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture required.
• 5 or more years of professional architectural experience, including work as an Architectural Designer, Project Architect, or comparable architectural professional.
• Advanced Revit capabilities, working proficiency with AutoCAD, and hands-on experience developing construction document packages for commercial and industrial facilities.
• Background supporting sophisticated facility projects involving detailed planning, coordination, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of building codes, life safety considerations, accessibility requirements, and common permitting processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities while consistently producing thorough, high-quality work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across clients, consultants, engineers, and project teams.
• Relevant professional credentials or active participation within the broader design industry are considered beneficial.
