Vice President Engineering

As Vice President Engineering, you will own the end-to-end technical strategy, building the architecture, processes, and team that transform a successful platform into the gold standard for an entire industry. You will work side-by-side with executive leadership, wield significant influence on product direction, and see your decisions translate directly into revenue growth and market share.
What You’ll Tackle
- Set the technical north star—define service boundaries, data strategy, and API standards that support rapid expansion.
- Raise the engineering bar—implement world-class reliability, observability, and test automation without sacrificing delivery speed.
- Embed compliance into design—partner with Security to ensure the platform meets the most stringent regulatory requirements from day one.
- Scale people and process—hire, mentor, and inspire senior leaders and ICs while establishing lightweight, outcome-focused practices.
- Drive executive alignment—act as the technical voice at the table, translating architecture choices into business impact and margin expansion.

Ideal Profile
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Deep background building cloud-native SaaS at scale, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Track record of delivering in regulated or security-sensitive verticals (govtech, fintech, healthtech, etc.).
- Proven ability to balance long-term architecture with near-term delivery targets.
- Passion for developing leaders and cultivating an inclusive, empowered culture.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary target: $250 K – $350 K plus meaningful performance incentives.
