Customer Service Representative

You will be the “voice of the customer,” owning the order life-cycle from quote through shipment while partnering with engineering, production, quality, and finance to ensure every project meets exacting standards. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, lead times, shipments, and invoices.
- Enter and maintain sales orders, customer data, and shipping instructions in the ERP system with a high degree of accuracy.
- Monitor open orders, proactively identify at-risk deliveries, and coordinate solutions with production and supply-chain teams.
- Generate quotations and contract reviews, ensuring requirements align with internal capabilities and quality standards.
- Interpret basic technical drawings and specifications to verify order accuracy; escalate complex issues to engineering.
- Facilitate returns, exchanges, and warranty claims, collaborating with quality to support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Liaise with finance to resolve invoice discrepancies and assist in collection of receivables.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all customer interactions and project milestones in accordance with ISO and internal guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical, business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of customer-service or order-management experience in a manufacturing environment (high-mix, low-volume experience highly valued).
- Proficient with ERP/order-processing platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings or blueprints is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. person eligible to work on projects that may require compliance with government regulations.
