What You Will Do
- Lead architectural projects throughout all phases, from early planning and design through construction administration and project closeout.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships through proactive communication and responsive service.
- Coordinate internal architectural staff along with engineering consultants and external project partners to ensure efficient project execution.
- Review construction documents for accuracy, code compliance, and overall project quality.
- Monitor project risks and proactively develop solutions that support successful project outcomes.
- Support permitting activities by coordinating with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct site visits during construction to monitor progress, address field questions, and help resolve project challenges.
- Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and maintain organized project records.
- Mentor junior team members while promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
- Eight or more years of architectural project management experience.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and project scheduling or budgeting software such as Microsoft Project.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, permitting processes, and construction documentation.
- Professional Architect license is preferred but not required.
