A rapidly growing, manufacturer within the industrial and engineered structures space is seeking a forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. This is a high-impact opportunity to step into a key leadership role, offering direct partnership with ownership and the ability to shape the financial future of a capital-intensive business poised for expansion. The organization is investing in its infrastructure, systems, and people, and is looking for a strategic yet hands-on finance leader who can drive performance, enhance reporting cadence, and support long-term growth initiatives.

Focus:

  • Lead enterprise-wide financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support business objectives.
  • Oversee cash flow management within a capital-intensive operating environment, ensuring optimal liquidity and resource allocation.
  • Drive the evolution of financial reporting processes
  • Partner closely with ownership to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting function, including oversight of the Controller and accounting team members.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations to enhance financial visibility and decision-making capabilities.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership to guide strategic decisions.


Skill Set:

  • 15 or more years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within complex or asset-heavy environments.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow dynamics, inventory management, and capital allocation strategies.
  • Experience leading and developing accounting and finance teams.
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required, advanced degree or CPA preferred.
