Senior PM - Civil Construction

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Construction Project Manager to lead complex projects, coordinate key activities, and ensure successful execution from start to finish. This position provides the opportunity to manage challenging construction initiatives from project launch through completion while working alongside skilled teams across multiple functions. The ideal candidate combines strong construction knowledge with financial discipline, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to keep demanding projects moving safely, efficiently, and profitably. Focus:

• Direct projects from initial mobilization through final completion, ensuring key activities, resources, budgets, and performance requirements remain on track.
• Develop project plans covering schedules, budgets, staffing, procurement, forecasting, and construction sequencing.
• Manage project financial performance through cost controls, billing, forecasting, change management, and margin oversight.
• Partner with superintendents and field teams to resolve constraints and keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and scope requirements to identify obligations, risks, and potential gaps.
• Maintain strong coordination with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Anticipate schedule, cost, scope, and constructability challenges, implementing solutions before they affect project outcomes.
• Manage complex civil construction initiatives while maintaining organized project records, reporting, and controls through established construction management systems.

Skill Set:

• Bring 10 to 15 years of project management experience across heavy civil construction, with direct exposure to water and wastewater treatment work.
• Demonstrate strong command of project financial management, construction scheduling, contract administration, field operations, and sequencing.
• Work confidently in Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling software.
• Balance multiple active priorities without losing accuracy, follow-through, or attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with field teams, clients, design professionals, trade partners, and leadership, including during negotiations and issue resolution.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
