Project Manager - Industrial

They are seeking a Project Manager - Industrial to lead major projects from planning through closeout, partnering with field and office teams to drive safe execution, strong client relationships, and reliable financial performance. Focus

• Lead complex industrial construction efforts from preconstruction planning through final turnover while keeping safety, schedule, cost, and client trust at the center of execution.
• Build and manage the commercial backbone of each project, including buyout strategy, forecasting, billing cadence, change management, and cash flow visibility.
• Partner closely with field leadership to align manpower, procurement, subcontractor performance, and installation quality across active job sites.
• Maintain disciplined project controls for budget health, cost reporting, monthly invoicing, and executive ready status updates.
• Support permit coordination, submittal workflows, purchase commitments, and closeout documentation with a high standard of accuracy.
• Resolve project issues early and professionally, using strong communication and sound judgment to keep work moving and relationships strong.
• Contribute practical technical input and value focused ideas that improve constructability, execution, and customer outcomes.
• Help reinforce a culture of accountability, professionalism, responsiveness, and continuous improvement across project teams.
• Oversee project staffing needs and support the development of coordinators, superintendents, supervisors, and frontline leaders as applicable.

Skill Set

• Proven experience leading large-scale industrial or heavy commercial construction programs, ideally in technically demanding environments.
• Strong command of project financials, subcontract administration, schedule coordination, and change management.
• Ability to lead cross functional teams and maintain alignment between office operations and field execution.
• Working knowledge of construction codes, compliance requirements, and safe work practices relevant to industrial projects.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to navigate challenges and maintain confidence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrated leadership presence, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to solving problems before they escalate.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail, documentation quality, and execution discipline.

Preferred Background

• Experience managing projects in industrial settings such as water, wastewater, manufacturing, power, process facilities, or similar environments.
• History of overseeing projects at or above the multimillion-dollar level.
• Several years of project management experience within construction, electrical, industrial, or related project-based environments.
