Western Regional Sales Manager

Location: Remote - West Coast required, preference for Los Angeles or Orange County, CA


A growing manufacturer in the electrical products space is looking for a high impact regional sales leader to expand its presence across the western U.S. This is a strong opportunity for someone who thrives on building channel relationships, driving revenue growth, and helping shape go to market strategy in a product focused environment. What You Will Do

  • Own revenue growth across western U.S. distribution channels, with a strong focus on electrical & lighting controls.
  • Strengthen relationships with distributor partners, rep agencies, and channel stakeholders to expand market share and uncover new business opportunities
  • Build and execute territory plans, sales forecasts, and account strategies aligned to broader commercial goals
  • Travel throughout the region to support customer meetings, rep visits, training events, and strategic partner development
  • Translate market feedback into recommendations on product positioning, portfolio priorities, and competitive response
  • Coach and coordinate independent representatives and channel partners to improve pipeline quality, sales activity, and regional performance
  • Present products, programs, and value messaging in a way that builds trust with buyers, influencers, and decision makers
  • Monitor results against goals, identify performance gaps, and adjust sales motions to keep the territory on track


What You Bring

  • Proven experience in the electrical industry, with added value for experience in wiring devices, controls, lighting, or adjacent product categories – candidates with experience in regional sales are strongly preferred.
  • Success managing distributor relationships, manufacturers reps, and multi state territories is strongly preferred.
  • Strong business planning, forecasting, and territory management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to operate effectively in a remote field role
  • Willingness to travel 30 percent throughout the region
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
