Environmental Compliance Analyst (Manufacturing)
Location: Remote, Nationwide
Travel: Approximately 25 to 35 percent
A growing industrial manufacturer is expanding its environmental support capabilities and is seeking an Environmental Compliance Analyst to help strengthen compliance performance across a multi-site production network. Focus
- Guide manufacturing sites on air permit obligations, emissions tracking, and routine compliance activities
- Monitor environmental performance data and help maintain compliance with air, water, and waste requirements
- Coordinate environmental audits, follow up actions, and related documentation across a distributed plant network
- Support permit renewals, permit changes, and agency communications tied to operational updates or expansion activity
- Translate regulatory expectations into practical guidance for plant leaders, supervisors, and plant personnel
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to strengthen environmental awareness and day-to-day execution
- Contribute to projects involving air systems, control equipment testing, stormwater programs, and related compliance initiatives
- Maintain strong visibility into site level obligations while supporting a growing manufacturing footprint
Skill Set
- 1 to 5 years of environmental compliance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Working knowledge of air compliance and environmental permitting concepts
- Ability to read permit language and apply requirements in an operating plant environment
- Exposure to emissions calculations, compliance reporting, or environmental recordkeeping
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence cross functional teams
- Self-directed mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, industrial hygiene, or a related field is preferred
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting multiple facilities or multiple states
- Exposure to Title V, FESOP, Synthetic Minor, or similar air permitting frameworks
- Background in packaging, plastics, automotive, chemicals, metals, or industrial manufacturing
- Comfort working closely with plant operations in fast moving production environments
