Service Plumber

Focus:

• Diagnose residential plumbing issues, identify the underlying cause, and recommend practical repair or replacement options.
• Complete residential plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations with attention to workmanship, safety, and applicable codes.
• Walk homeowners through findings, available solutions, and pricing in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and complete required payment collection at the conclusion of applicable calls.
• Keep service areas, tools, and assigned equipment organized while maintaining a professional presence in customers' homes.
• Coordinate with dispatch and fellow technicians to keep service calls moving efficiently and customers informed.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and continue building expertise across residential plumbing systems.
• Contribute to a dependable, customer-focused service culture through accountability, communication, and consistent follow-through.

Skill Set:

• 2 or more years of plumbing field experience, with residential service experience strongly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through residential service issues independently.
• Clear, professional communication skills and confidence working directly with homeowners.
• Comfort discussing service options and pricing with customers and collecting payment when required.
• Current plumbing license, with Illinois credentials preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record suitable for operating a company vehicle.
• Dependable, organized, and able to maintain quality standards across a full schedule of service calls.
• Commitment to safe, code-compliant work and a high standard of customer care.
