Finance and Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Support leadership in managing full cycle accounting operations across multiple entities
• Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting accuracy
• Drive month end, quarter end, and year end close processes with a focus on efficiency
• Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling initiatives
• Analyze financial performance and deliver insights to support strategic decisions
• Assist in consolidating financials across various business and investment entities
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting
• Support system implementations and enhancements, including ERP optimization
• Assist with audit preparation, tax support, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to a high performing team environment
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement across workflows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting practices
• Experience working with multiple entities or complex organizational structures
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
• Experience with system implementations or transitions is highly preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and continuous improvement focus
• Exposure to insurance or statutory accounting is a plus
