Senior Construction Project Manager – Mission Critical Facilities

Location: Shreveport, LA (On-site)

Our client, a nationally recognized player in the design-build space, is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead mission critical construction initiatives. This is a high-impact role with a focus on large-scale, fast-paced data center builds and other advanced infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead construction project execution from award through close-out for mission critical or advanced technology facilities.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and design teams to develop cost estimates, proposals, schedules, and RFP responses.
• Oversee subcontractor bidding, qualification, selection, and contract negotiation.
• Manage project financials including budgets, labor reports, cost projections, and cash flow tracking.
• Develop detailed construction schedules, conduct site coordination meetings, and ensure project milestones are met or exceeded.
• Coordinate with municipal agencies, suppliers, and engineering teams to obtain approvals and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and enforce site safety, quality assurance, and adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, progress reporting, and change management.
• Support closeout documentation, punch lists, warranty follow-up, and lessons-learned documentation.
• Provide coaching to junior team members and play a role in strengthening overall field team capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects—data center experience is highly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of project planning tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project, paired with strong capabilities in cost tracking systems and construction record management.
• Proven leadership in managing project budgets, timelines, safety, and team performance across multiple stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial building practices, regulatory requirements, and approval procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
• Strong interest in highly technical or specialized construction settings such as data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, or laboratory environments.
