Cost Manager

What You Will Do:
- Lead comprehensive cost management efforts across the full project lifecycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all cost-related activities, enabling project leaders to focus on execution, quality, and delivery.
- Partner closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial goals and performance.
- Oversee cost tracking across prime contracts and subcontractor scopes.
- Evaluate and enhance tools and systems, including construction management platforms, to improve reporting accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- Support seamless coordination between preconstruction, construction, and operations teams to maintain financial continuity.
- Manage key cost functions such as budget development, cash flow tracking, invoice review, billing coordination, and purchase order management.
- Administer and evaluate change orders, ensuring proper documentation and financial impact analysis.
What You Bring:
- Experience managing costs on large-scale, complex construction projects, ideally within mission-critical or highly technical environments.
- Strong understanding of cost drivers across construction disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure systems.
- Familiarity with market conditions, including labor, materials, and supply chain dynamics.
- Proven ability to integrate cost management with scheduling, procurement, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience supporting contract administration, including change management and invoicing processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Preferred Background:
- Experience supporting data center or similarly complex infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to phased or fast-track construction delivery methods.
