Regional Sales Manager, Broadband Solutions

Location: Remote (United States, nationwide)

Travel: Up to 50 percent domestic travel to customer and channel-partner sites

Our client is a fast-growing manufacturer of fiber-optic connectivity and drop-cable solutions that is redefining how broadband providers roll out last-mile networks. As the Broadband Regional Sales Manager, you will be the face of an innovative product suite—fusion splicers, splice-on connectors, cable assemblies, and turnkey FTTH solutions—owning revenue growth across an assigned multistate territory while working from a remote home office. This is a high-impact position with uncapped commission, robust benefits, and the freedom to shape go-to-market strategy for a business that is scaling aggressively in the U.S. broadband boom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert territory market analytics into actionable sales plays, staying ahead of grant programs, competitive moves, and build plans.
  • Uncover and cultivate new revenue streams across ISPs, utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, and emerging broadband operators.
  • Deepen engagement with current distributors and value-added resellers through structured account plans, cross-selling initiatives, and consistent communication.
  • Coach and align manufacturer-rep and distribution partners on product positioning, promotions, and launch playbooks.
  • Keep a clean, up-to-date funnel in CRM and provide accurate forecasts and pipeline visibility to sales leadership.
  • Summarize field intelligence and business metrics in concise reports that drive data-backed decisions.
  • Deliver on quarterly and annual sales targets by executing a territory strategy synchronized with corporate objectives.
  • Tackle high-priority customer issues quickly to ensure a world-class experience and sustained loyalty.
  • Protect margins by adhering to pricing, policy, and regulatory guidelines while championing ethical business practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 plus years of quota-carrying sales success within broadband, fiber, or adjacent telecommunications markets.
  • Documented record of surpassing revenue targets and expanding territory share.
  • Skilled presenter and relationship builder; able to translate technical value to executives, field teams, and engineering audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern CRM platform (Salesforce or similar) and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical acumen—comfortable turning market data into go-to-market actions.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50 percent nationwide.

Preferred Extras

  • Prior experience guiding distributor or manufacturer-rep channels.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with leadership strategy.
  • High level of organization and self-discipline in a remote environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with an aggressive, uncapped commission plan.
  • Car and mobile-phone allowance plus full travel reimbursements.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage effective within 30 days.
  • 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, and PTO available immediately.
  • Career-growth path inside a rapidly expanding sector and organization.
