Manufacturing Process Designer

On-site, Fayetteville, AR

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Process Designer to help shape complex industrial and food-processing environments where thoughtful design has a direct impact on how facilities are built and operated. This role offers the chance to collaborate across technical and project teams, lead the development of operational layouts, and support projects as they move from initial planning into implementation. The ideal candidate combines strong Revit capabilities with hands-on knowledge of conveyor systems and a practical understanding of designing equipment layouts that can be successfully fabricated and constructed.

Focus:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D process layouts, equipment arrangements, and supporting documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support the development of equipment arrangements and workflow solutions for a variety of production environments.
• Advance projects from early concepts through detailed design documentation and construction-phase support.
• Translate field information, operational requirements, and preliminary concepts into coordinated, constructible designs.
• Maintain alignment of project plans and technical details among multiple design, engineering, and construction teams.
• Spend time at project locations to assess field conditions, collect relevant details, verify site requirements, and assist with implementation activities.
• Contribute to technical specifications, bid-related documentation, drawing revisions, design reviews, and project meetings.
• Resolve project-related issues by recommending effective solutions that consider operational needs, implementation constraints, and overall project timing.

Skill Set:

• At least three years of hands-on experience supporting process-focused design work within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Revit and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Hands-on experience with conveyor design and fabrication for food-processing applications.
• Relevant technical education or comparable practical experience in a design, drafting, engineering, or similar field.
• Strong understanding of industrial process layouts, equipment arrangements, and constructible design practices.
• Ability to independently identify design challenges, develop workable solutions, and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective interpersonal and coordination abilities, with a consistent focus on accuracy and managing priorities.
• Experience with poultry processing, millwright specifications, bid or fabrication drawings, 3D scanning, or point-cloud workflows is a plus.
