What You’ll Do
- Own the order-to-delivery cycle - monitor demand signals in SAP, enter/adjust orders, and coordinate shipments to meet strict customer KPIs.
- Analyze customer prints, build cost models in Excel, and issue accurate, profitable quotations.
- Expedite shortages, investigate discrepancies, and drive resolutions across inventory, logistics, and quality teams.
- Maintain contract pricing, shipping terms, and CRM details; generate reports that highlight trends, risks, and improvement ideas.
- Present cost-savings ideas, refine VMI/Kanban bin setups, and participate in quarterly business reviews.
- Serve as the primary internal contact for a portfolio of regional manufacturing accounts - earning “trusted advisor” status through prompt, professional support.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 + years in inside sales, customer service, account management, or supply-chain operations - ideally within industrial or fastener distribution.
- Proven ERP fluency (SAP strongly preferred) and advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic macros).
- Comfort reading mechanical drawings and translating technical requirements into clear, competitive quotes.
- Analytical mindset - able to spot trends in inventory and usage data, then recommend actionable solutions.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills; ease navigating between shop-floor teams and executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree a plus (business, supply-chain, or engineering); HS diploma/GED required.
