Responsibilities 

• Lead the overall operational performance of a residential services business including revenue growth, profitability, and service delivery 

• Establish clear operational goals and hold department leaders accountable to key performance indicators 

• Identify and execute strategies to increase market share and expand regional growth 

• Build, mentor, and develop a leadership team across operations, field service, customer experience, and sales 

• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous operational improvement 

• Develop recruiting, retention, and training strategies that attract and retain top field and operational talent 

• Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong service delivery and quickly addressing operational challenges 

• Partner with internal teams across finance, HR, marketing, and operational support to align business strategy and resources 

• Improve operational processes, workforce planning, scheduling, and materials management to enhance efficiency and productivity 

• Monitor financial performance, operational metrics, and service KPIs to ensure sustained business growth 


Background 

• 10 plus years of leadership experience within operational or service-driven businesses 

• 5 plus years managing operations within residential home services such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar field service environments 

• Demonstrated experience driving revenue growth and improving operational performance 

• Strong experience managing P and L responsibilities and operational metrics 

• Proven ability to lead multiple departments and develop high-performing management teams 

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational management skills 


Preferred Experience 

• Experience leading multi-branch or large regional service operations 

• Background in scaling operations within growing service organizations 

• Experience building leadership pipelines and developing operational managers 

• Track record of improving operational efficiency and workforce productivity in field service environments
