E-Rate Sales Representative

Location: Remote, Nationwide

Focus

  • Manage a national portfolio of K-12 and public sector accounts, balancing renewals, expansion, and new logo growth
  • Pursue E-Rate funded opportunities by reviewing filings, qualifying bid activity, and developing compliant proposals
  • Partner with internal sales engineering and pricing teams to position internet, network security, and SD-WAN solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with school leaders, consultants, and purchasing influencers across the education market
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities tied to bandwidth, secure networking, and managed services
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and CRM hygiene across a seasonal sales cycle
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure strong handoff, delivery alignment, and customer satisfaction
  • Represent the organization professionally in customer meetings, virtual presentations, and select industry events


Skill Set

  • Background in B2B sales, account development, business development, customer success, or a related client-facing function
  • Experience navigating E-Rate rules, timelines, and bid response requirements within the K-12 environment
  • Knowledge of telecom, connectivity, broadband, network security, SD-WAN, or adjacent technology solutions
  • Ability to manage existing relationships while also pursuing new funded opportunities
  • Comfort working with consultants, technical teams, and decision-makers in school or public sector settings
  • Strong communication, proposal, negotiation, and follow-through skills
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and effective in a remote environment
  • Experience using CRM tools and maintaining accurate opportunity data
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis as business needs require

Preferred Background

  • Experience selling into charter schools, public schools, libraries, or related education environments
  • Exposure to managed firewall, secure WAN, or other recurring network services
  • Success growing recurring revenue through retention, expansion, and new account wins
  • Technical acumen that supports confident customer conversations and solution positioning
