Director of Wireless Operations
Location: Remote, Nationwide (U.S.)

A nationally recognized provider of advanced connectivity solutions is seeking a strategic and execution-focused leader to oversee large-scale wireless deployment operations across the United States. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape operational strategy, lead a distributed workforce of over 100 professionals, and drive excellence in delivering complex in-building wireless systems that power mission-critical environments.
What You Will Do
- Lead nationwide operations for deployment, installation, commissioning, and support of in-building wireless systems.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that drive growth, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators, productivity metrics, and service delivery standards.
- Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects and regions.
- Ensure successful end-to-end project execution, from kickoff through completion, including risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, project management, finance, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and execution success.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large, multi-level organization, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
- Manage operational budgets, labor utilization, vendor spend, and financial performance to optimize margins.
- Standardize processes, enforce quality and safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
- Oversee vendor and subcontractor relationships while supporting customer engagement, escalations, and long-term satisfaction.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business, telecommunications, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
- 8 or more years of progressive operations leadership experience within wireless infrastructure, telecommunications, construction, or related industries.
- 5 or more years of experience leading multi-functional or geographically distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of in-building wireless systems, field operations, and project delivery frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, and operational performance metrics.
- Deep knowledge of safety, compliance, and quality standards in field-based environments.
- Demonstrated success in scaling operations and improving efficiency in dynamic environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Experience
- Background in large-scale wireless deployments, including public venues or enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with permitting, commissioning, and industry standards.
- Certifications such as PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or safety-related credentials are a plus.
- Experience with project management, ERP, or workforce planning systems.
