Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of vapor intrusion mitigation systems, including sub-slab depressurization solutions
- Oversee development of detailed technical reports, including data interpretation, regulatory alignment, and strategic recommendations
- Guide field teams during system installation and ensure quality and compliance
- Review and finalize post-mitigation documentation, including CAD-based system designs and as-built reports
- Collaborate with state and local regulatory bodies to support funded environmental redevelopment initiatives
- Develop and present project cost estimates, clearly communicating system design, functionality, and value to clients
- Serve as a key technical advisor to stakeholders, including property owners, consultants, engineers, and architects
- Ensure successful project delivery across multiple engagements, balancing timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Review technical deliverables such as proposals, operational reports, and system testing documentation
- Identify hiring needs and support the expansion of technical staff as the organization grows
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Stay current on emerging technologies and contribute innovative ideas to enhance service offerings and business development efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Strong experience with vapor mitigation systems and environmental remediation design
- Proven ability to interpret environmental data and navigate regulatory frameworks
- Experience with CAD and technical reporting
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles and project leadership
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with brownfield redevelopment programs and regulatory agencies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams or mentoring junior engineers
- Background in cost estimation and proposal development
