SAP EWM / Warehouse Systems Architect (Distribution & Automation)

Location: Chicago preferred; open to remote candidates with travel as needed (10–20%)

Compensation: $200K–$235K base + bonus + equity

This is not an EWM configuration role.

We are hiring a Warehouse Systems Architect to design and evolve a highly integrated distribution environment.

This role sits within a large, highly automated distribution network undergoing significant systems evolution and requires someone who can think beyond a single system. You’ll help define how warehouse and logistics systems operate together at scale.

What you’ll do

• Design end-to-end solutions across EWM and the warehouse ecosystem
• Define how systems connect across automation, robotics, and logistics platforms
• Drive decisions like “build in SAP vs. build outside SAP”
• Shape integration strategy (APIs, event-driven, etc.)

What matters most

• Strong EWM foundation
• Ability to think as a system architect
• Exposure to integration patterns and modern architecture

What won’t work

• Pure EWM implementers
• SAP-only mindset without broader systems thinking
