Outside Sales

Key Responsibilities
- Grow profitable revenue by expanding wallet share with current accounts and opening new contractor and facility customers across Central Texas.
- Own the full sales cycle - prospecting, quoting, negotiating, closing - and log timely, accurate updates in CRM.
- Be in the field: conduct job-site walk-throughs, counter visits, and executive reviews to uncover opportunities.
- Turn data into action: use territory and margin reports to build weekly game plans that beat revenue and profit targets.
- Partner internally with inside sales, credit, and logistics to ensure flawless delivery and collections.
- Solve issues fast - pricing, product, or delivery - turning challenges into loyalty-builders.
- Sell the extras: vendor trainings, material take-offs, inventory solutions, and other differentiators.
- Stay visible in local trade associations to track construction trends and network for new business.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of territory or outside sales in construction supplies, distribution, contracting, or a related channel.
- History of beating quotas and negotiating win-win solutions.
- Product familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, or general building materials is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and basic CRM tools.
- Persuasive, self-directed communicator who collaborates well with cross-functional teams.
