VP of Business Development – Channel Partners

Location: Remote – U.S. East Coast

About the Opportunity

A high-growth provider of in-building and campus connectivity is scaling its national footprint and needs an executive rain-maker to architect a best-in-class channel-partner ecosystem. Backed by private-equity investors and known for turnkey DAS, private 5G, and fiber solutions, this company empowers healthcare systems, commercial real estate owners, and other mission-critical venues to thrive in a 5G world. From your East-Coast base you’ll design strategies that expand revenue, shorten deployment cycles, and elevate customer experience.

Key Outcomes (First 12-18 Months)

  • Operationalize five new strategic alliances with OEMs, system integrators, or specialty contractors to create net-new venue opportunities.
  • Launch a partner-onboarding playbook-including commercial terms, KPIs, and enablement resources-to accelerate deal velocity.
  • Cultivate C-suite relationships that position our infrastructure-as-a-service model as the easiest path to 5G-ready buildings.
  • Deliver data-driven channel forecasts each quarter and refine strategy using pipeline analytics.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect nationally and regionally to uncover “local kings” -high-influence integrators and low-voltage contractors-who can originate venue leads.
  • Craft creative financing structures for large venues (e.g., hospitals) with complex budget needs.
  • Align internal engineering, finance, and operations teams so partner deals map seamlessly onto our build-own-operate model.
  • Represent the company at industry events and partner forums as the executive face of the channel program.

Ideal Profile

  • 7+ years leading channel development, indirect sales, or strategic alliances in DAS, small-cell, private LTE/5G, or adjacent telecom technologies.
  • Executive-level network across OEMs, integrators, distributors, and application providers.
  • Skilled at navigating tough C-suite negotiations and spotting misalignments early.
  • Willing to travel up to 65 percent to meet partners and prospects.
  • Bachelor’s in business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or related field (MBA a plus).
