GTM & AI Analytics Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Houston, TX or Austin, TX
Our client is building a technology-forward operating model across a growing portfolio of businesses, and they are looking for a hands-on engineer who can turn AI, analytics, and automation into measurable business results. This is an opportunity to work directly with senior decision-makers, tackle high-value problems across revenue and operations, and build systems that can ultimately scale across multiple businesses. For someone who enjoys moving from business problem to working solution without layers of bureaucracy, this role offers an unusually broad mandate and significant room to make an impact.
his Role Offers:
- Competitive base salary, plus performance-based incentive compensation.
- Direct access to senior decision-makers and the ability to influence technology priorities without layers of bureaucracy.
- A builder-first environment with latitude to select and justify the tools needed to deliver results.
- A path to broaden your impact as successful systems are extended across a growing group of operating companies.
Focus:
- Diagnose high-value operating bottlenecks with executives and frontline teams, then prioritize solutions using measurable business impact.
- Design a unified technology and data environment across CRM, communications, operating platforms, integrations, reporting, and workflow tools.
- Build production-ready AI automations for service coordination, customer communications, lead workflows, administrative processes, and other repetitive operating work.
- Create scalable GTM systems that improve prospecting, referrals, pipeline visibility, retention analysis, and market-level unit economics.
- Standardize data and systems as newly added businesses join the platform, using repeatable integration playbooks that shorten time to value.
- Define practical success measures and lightweight evaluation methods for AI-enabled tools, workflows, and analytics products.
- Turn successful solutions into documented patterns that can be reused across additional operating businesses.
Skill Set:
- 2 to 6 years of experience personally building GTM, revenue operations, analytics, automation, or business systems used by real stakeholders.
- Hands-on capability with CRM architecture, workflow automation, APIs, data integrations, and Python or a comparable scripting language.
- At least 1 year of practical experience using a leading LLM API, including prompt design and tool or function calling.
- Experience translating loosely defined business needs into working solutions, demonstrating progress, gathering feedback, and delivering reliably.
- A track record of taking ownership in ambiguous environments, such as an early-stage company, founder experience, or a highly autonomous technical role.
- Exposure to field services, multi-location operations, or other operationally intensive businesses is helpful.
- Experience integrating inherited systems after acquisitions or consolidations is a plus.
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks, model orchestration, or emerging AI integration standards is beneficial.
- Experience establishing quality benchmarks and monitoring AI-enabled systems over time is a plus.
