Electronics Manufacturing Manager

A fast-growing contract manufacturer of complex electronic assemblies is adding a floor-focused leader to steer production through its next wave of growth. You will own the daily build schedule, mentor a talented crew of technicians, and work directly with customers on feasibility, quotes, and delivery commitments. With the retiring manager staying on as an advisor, you will inherit a solid playbook - then put your own stamp on processes, technology, and culture.

Why Join?

  • Autonomy & visibility: report to senior leadership and shape the entire production function.
  • Growth runway: company revenues up double-digits for three straight years; leadership path is clear.
  • Competitive package: six-figure base, performance bonus, strong benefits, and 401(k) match.
  • People-first culture: family ownership, low bureaucracy, and genuine investment in employee development.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan & schedule 40-plus active work orders in a high-mix, low-volume environment, balancing materials, labor, and machine capacity.
  • Lead from the floor, guiding 15–25 assemblers and technicians through daily stand-ups, rapid problem-solving, and 5S initiatives.
  • Be the operations voice in customer calls - reviewing drawings for manufacturability, confirming lead times, and resolving issues with professionalism.
  • Drive continuous improvement using root-cause analysis, visual management, and data from the ERP system; help champion an upcoming system migration.
  • Develop talent by hiring, training, and coaching employees toward higher craftsmanship, safety, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive manufacturing experience in electronics or related assembly, including direct supervision of production teams.
  • Demonstrated success creating and executing ERP-based build schedules (any modern platform; IQMS/Delmia Works helpful but not required).
  • Hands-on leadership style - comfortable splitting time between the line, the office, and customer meetings.
  • Calm under shifting priorities with the professionalism to interface confidently with long-standing customers.

Preferred Plus

  • Experience with cable, harness, or wire-processing operations.
  • Exposure to ISO-controlled quality systems or similar regulatory environments.
  • History of leading - or acting as key user for - an ERP implementation or major upgrade.
