We are looking for an experienced contract Signal Processing Engineer with a proven track record in TWS earbuds audio DSP development to join us for a 3-4 month project. This role is highly focused on real-time audio and ultrasonic algorithm implementation for TWS earbuds, with direct hands-on DSP firmware development for TWS platforms. It is best suited for someone who is independent, technically strong, and able to contribute quickly with minimal ramp-up. 


Experience with the WuQi TWS platform is especially valuable, and will be considered a strong differentiator.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize real-time audio/ultrasound DSP algorithms for TWS earbuds on the WuQi TWS platform.
  • Develop and maintain embedded C firmware for DSP-enabled microcontrollers used in TWS audio pipelines.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate and validate algorithms on production earbuds.
  • Debug and troubleshoot system-level issues across firmware, hardware, and audio signal chain.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and help define future DSP features.
  • Deliver clean, efficient, and well-documented code with a focus on real-time performance.
  • Operate with minimal supervision and take ownership of deliverables.


Experience and Qualifications 

  • >5 years experience with DSP development in audio applications, with specific focus on TWS earbuds.
  • Strong hands-on skills in Embedded C for real-time, low-power systems.
  • Deep knowledge of audio DSP fundamentals, algorithms, and real-time constraints.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize audio DSP pipelines.
  • Fluent in English, with strong problem-solving skills.


Bonus Skills

  • Direct experience with the WuQi TWS platform (SDKs, development tools, debugging).
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth audio / True Wireless Stereo (TWS) systems.
  • Python for signal analysis, prototyping, or test automation.
  • Knowledge of Android audio pipelines or related app integration.
