Post-Sales Engineer – Telecom, Data Center

What You Will Do
- Review awarded project documentation, validate bill of materials, and resolve discrepancies before procurement begins
- Develop submittal packages, drawing markups, and closeout documentation for fiber, copper, and related infrastructure scopes
- Partner with project managers, vendors, and field teams to support change orders, material releases, and technical clarifications
- Track multiple active projects at once while maintaining version control across drawings, RFIs, and as built deliverables
- Conduct periodic site visits to confirm installed work aligns with approved documentation and client standards
- Prepare run sheets, labeling plans, and support materials that help field teams execute efficiently
- Coordinate product data, substitutions, availability, and lead time details with manufacturers and supplier partners
- Help strengthen internal standards for engineering documentation, approvals, and turnover packages
- Support project completion by confirming test records, final documentation, and warranty materials are complete and organized
What You Bring
- 4 or more years of experience in post-sales engineering, project engineering, submittals, or a similar technical support function within telecom or low voltage construction
- Hands on experience supporting structured cabling and data center infrastructure projects across commercial or mission critical environments
- Strong working knowledge of submittals, shop drawings, closeout packages, and material coordination in a construction driven setting
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents with a high level of detail
- Proficiency using technical drafting, design, and project coordination software, including digital markup, CAD, diagramming, spreadsheet, or comparable documentation applications.
- Strong organizational skills, follow through, and the ability to manage several priorities at once
- Knowledge of fiber and copper cabling systems, pathways, racks, and installation documentation practices
- Professional credentials in telecommunications, structured cabling, or related technical disciplines are advantageous.
