Why You’ll Love This Role

Join a high-growth wholesale food organization that puts product integrity and customer trust at the center of everything we do. As the newest member of our Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) team, you will gain hands-on exposure to supplier relations, laboratory programs, and cross-functional projects that keep our nationwide supply chain running safely and smoothly. If you thrive on detail, enjoy collaborating with vendors and internal partners, and want a clear path to advance in food quality, this is the place to build your career.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion daily habits that elevate food-safety standards and overall product quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor and customer inquiries, ensuring swift, clear resolutions.
  • Monitor third-party testing spend and prepare concise cost reports for leadership review.
  • Arrange product sampling and shipment for off-site analytical tests, confirming timely delivery.
  • Enter and verify inspection and test data in the quality-management system so records stay audit-ready.
  • Participate in sensory and spec reviews, capturing insights that refine evaluation protocols.
  • Partner with compliance staff to keep supplier and product documentation current and complete.

What Success Looks Like

  • Bring a service-oriented mindset to daily collaboration across multiple departments.
  • Balance several initiatives at once, driving stronger supplier accountability and streamlined testing workflows.
  • Proactively remove roadblocks so the FSQA team meets its quarterly goals.

What You’ll Bring

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SharePoint plus a knack for learning new systems quickly.
  • Meticulous organization, keen attention to detail, and respect for confidential data.
  • Clear written and verbal communication that bridges technical findings for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in a regulated setting - food, pharma, medical devices, or similar - is a strong plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive annual compensation (DOE) plus performance bonus potential.
  • Comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and ongoing professional-development support.
