Owner’s Representative, Commercial Construction

Location: Remote in Castle Rock, CO


An established and growing construction consulting organization is seeking an experienced Owner's Representative to serve as a trusted advisor for commercial property owners and institutional clients. This is an opportunity to work in a highly visible, client facing role where you will help guide complex capital improvement initiatives from early planning through successful project completion. What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary advisor for commercial construction projects, representing client interests throughout planning, procurement, execution, and project closeout.
  • Build lasting relationships with property owners, facilities leaders, and commercial stakeholders by providing trusted guidance and practical solutions.
  • Evaluate project requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and help clients make informed decisions regarding construction investments.
  • Coordinate competitive bidding efforts, review contractor qualifications, compare proposals, and support contractor selection.
  • Analyze project costs, negotiate pricing, and help ensure budgets align with project objectives while maintaining quality standards.
  • Partner with contractors, consultants, and internal team members to keep projects moving efficiently through every phase.
  • Present recommendations, project updates, and financial information to client leadership in a clear and professional manner.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and assist with resolving issues affecting scope, schedule, or budget.
  • Stay informed on commercial construction best practices, building systems, procurement strategies, and market conditions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through exceptional service and long term strategic support.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, reports, and communication records throughout each engagement.

 

What You Bring

  • 3 to 5 or more years of experience in commercial construction, roofing, building envelope, owner's representation, construction consulting, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of estimating, procurement, contractor management, project delivery, and commercial construction practices.
  • Demonstrated success managing client relationships while coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to evaluate contractor proposals, pricing, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Self motivated professional who thrives in a client focused and fast paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and project site visits.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting capital improvement programs or commercial renovation projects.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents, specifications, scopes of work, and contractor proposals.
  • Experience working with commercial property owners, institutional organizations, or corporate real estate portfolios.
  • Familiarity with CRM or project management platforms.
